The official description of this class would be that it’s a mixed level contemporary Pilates & Stretch class offered via Zoom. We will be focusing on connecting to our breath, dynamically challenging our core, balancing out our bodies, and getting a nice mix of workout and relaxation. Come join us for some feel good, healthy movement & sneak in all the benefits of unwinding your tension while getting a full body workout every Monday at 6pm. (This might be changing to Wednesdays in February 2023…) All bodies welcome💗 *Can’t attend the live class? You get access to the class recording for a full week afterwards* We’d love to “see you” there! All levels welcome, no previous experience required. I take requests and lots of modifications or options are given. Questions? Connect with me, I’m happy to help. Want an idea of what my teaching style is like? Check out my you tube channel or some of my longer videos in my membership library. Suggested Props: - Pilates or Yoga Mat (you can always use a beach towel or large blanket) - Hand towel or a small pillow (for extra padding or next support) - Coregeous Ball (or something like it) find it here - Light or Medium Resistance Band find it here - Yoga Strap or a long belt/tie/towel find it here - Optional: sometimes I offer the option to add extra resistance with a resistance loop. You can tie your longer band into a loop or purchase an actual loop. find it here Target and tone your inner thighs & core in under 5 minutes with this simple and quick exercise. Click here to try it now. All you need for this inner thigh & core workout is a couregeous ball or something like it. You can do this as a movement break, or as a warm up for other activities where you want to access the strength in your core and inner thighs. I’m using a half roller in the video, but you could also use a coregeous ball, yoga block, full foam roller etc etc… If you feel any discomfort, try reducing your range of motion or adjusting the placement of whichever prop you are using under your pelvis. Feeling stuck in your mid back? Or constantly fighting your rib flare? In under 5 minutes, find your upper back curve and connect with your upper core to release your ribs for better mobility, posture, and core activation. You’ll need a hand towel to support the weight of your head and take the load off of your neck. I’m also using a half roller in the video, but you could also use a coregeous ball, yoga block, full foam roller etc etc… If you feel any discomfort, try reducing your range of motion or adjusting the placement of the half roller. No Class Monday July 4th or 25th! 6/17/2022 New Video-Standing Pilates Ring WorkoutStanding Pilates Ring Workout This video is a simple yet challenging standing full body workout using the Pilates Ring, which is a great prop to add resistance and enhance the feel of the exercises. I encourage all levels of experience to practice this workout as it includes balance work and applies Pilates principles to functional, everyday movements. The video is designed to be practiced standing without assistance, but feel free to hold on to something stable to assist with balance. This is a safe workout for those with Osteoporosis or Osteopenia, please take care to avoid curving in your upper back when putting the ring in place and don’t turn further than you would to back up your car when rotating.
