For people who are ready to get rid of nagging aches & tightness so they can feel good, move better, & get on with their life
Hi! I’m Pippa Frame, a Pilates Instructor and Fascial Stretch Therapist who helps normal, busy people troubleshoot and improve how their body feels, moves, and functions out in the real world.
My definition of normal includes those with zoom neck, tight hips, low back pain, osteoporosis, joint replacements, pregnancies, and chronic injuries or tension (just to name a few). If you’re struggling with what feels like a moving target, nagging aches & pains that never really go away or an ever-changing array of symptoms, know that you’re not alone!
In fact, this is how I got into the work I do now. I am a retired modern dancer who still loves to move! Although I no longer dance or choreograph professionally, my calling led me to develop a curiosity and interest in how the body moves at a very young age. It also led to an interesting list of injuries and some intense wear & tear on my body, which I now do my best to manage with the same strategies I use with my clients.
I started my company in 2012, but I have been working and learning within the health, movement, and wellness industries for much longer. I hold an MFA in Dance, which means that I’m a trained movement teacher who knows how to break down or level up movements in order to improve skills and strength while avoiding injury. Since I’ve been working with many different bodies over the years, my “eye” and ability to troubleshoot helps me get clients on track as efficiently and quickly as possible.
I’m certified in a variety of areas and keep adding more as I go, mostly because I’m a lifelong learner and it keeps me inspired. Here are the most important ones to know about:
Fascial Stretch Specialist I have a practical skill set to work with fascia and an advanced understanding of how it works. I can unwind chronic tension in your neck or lower back, improve mobility in your hips and shoulders, and reduce spots of discomfort manually. I can also teach you how to adapt your own stretching and workouts on your own.
Pilates Instructor Pilates is a tool that I use to help clients build strength, flexibility, and stability as well as body awareness. This translates to better posture, improved balance, less aches or strains, and more confidence with functional movements like a squat. We focus on a variety of elements like breath work, fall prevention, and the coordination of the pelvic floor and deep core.
Reiki master Reiki is a very simple, yet effective form of energy work that is applied to create deep relaxation, promote healing, and soothe discomfort.
