I see Pippa for MST and she has taken my hip and shoulder joints to places they have never been before. When people ask me about MST I use the word "intense." I am able to relax during the MST session because I feel safe in Pippa's hands. After MST, I feel very limber, relaxed and my joints feel light. Pippa is also a joy to spend an hour with.

As a former professional dancer, Pippa understands body mechanics and how to individualize Pilates and Facial Stretch sessions to improve body tone, strength, and flexibility. Pippa helped me prepare for my wedding two years ago and I have been hooked ever since.

It really works! I’m a former college athlete and personal trainer. I thought I knew the biomechanics of stretching and the best routines, but Pippa’s technique and expertise has opened my eyes and taken me to a level of flexibility I never thought possible.
I read article in Men’s Fitness about the “Stretch to Win” system, called the school, and was referred to Pippa. Currently, I’m seeing Pippa three times weekly for MST in preparation for a kickboxing fight. When in maintenance mode, I see her once a week or sometimes every other week. I always wanted to improve my flexibility, as it was always a neglected part of my fitness regimen. Yoga isn’t my speed and I could only get so much result stretching myself. I knew there had to be someone who specializes in improving flexibility with athletes. My range of motion has improved vastly; muscles and joints are no longer tight; and my body feels better balanced when exercising. Lower back pains disappeared. If I’d only met Pippa earlier, I could’ve avoided years of chiropractic care and tennis elbow surgery. When I leave an MST session I feel relaxed, balanced, less sore, more flexible, and my tightness is gone.
Pippa has always been very professional. She’s personable, reliable, attentive, and accommodating with her schedule. I only trust Pippa stretch me to my limits. She has a knack for knowing just how far to take me.

I started some stretch with Pippa after watching my wife enjoy it so much. I am a surgeon who holds my head and arms in some awkward and sustained positions, and the stretch has been very beneficial. I would definitely recommend it to any other surgeon or tradesmen who gets muscle tightness! It can prolong your career.

I was introduced to fascial stretch almost 15 years ago when I was playing sports professionally. I’ve experienced the effectiveness of Pippa’s work both as an athlete as well as pain reduction now that I’ve been retired for over 10 years. One experience that was very eye-opening was one evening that I went to the gym for my normal off-season workout. This workout was on my way home from getting stretched. I distinctly remember being a few lifts into my routine and looking down at my paper to make sure I wasn’t making mistakes on my desired weights for that workout. I also looked back at the pins on the machines to make sure I wasn’t putting them in the wrong places. I was doing 4 sets at 12 reps and usually by the 3rd set, I’d struggle with the last 2 reps and on the last set struggle on the last 4 and need a spotter. The workout I did after getting stretched, I was able to do all four sets without struggling for the last few reps. That’s why I was checking my paper and the weights. After a few lifts, I was able to add roughly 10% to the weight I had been lifting the time before. From a sports perspective, anytime you can go increase your productivity by 10%, that is a HUGE jump. I realized it was because I was operating at my potential rather than fighting my own body because I was tight.
Now that I’m retired, I’ve felt the effects of 20 years of repeating the same motions over and over. I always saw getting stretched as something that would help me when I was competing but not something to continue to do for pain management/prevention. I developed arthritis in my hip and severe pain daily for 4 years. I visited doctors, went to physical therapy, and started taking medication just to get through the day. After my doctor started the conversation about getting an MRI and possibly heading toward a hip replacement (I’m just turning 40), I decided to go back to see Pippa and see if getting stretched would help. Within 2 sessions my body responded and I got range of motion back to where I’ve not had pain in that hip since. It’s been over a year now. I have days where I’m stiffer than others but the pain is completely gone. I’m able to have a much better quality of life and get out and do some of the things I love like hiking and playing golf. Before I started back, I would still do these things and literally not be able to get out of bed for 2 days afterward. I highly recommend the program and Pippa is a master at what she does!

I have been to Pippa many times and her work has been invaluable to me. I have walked in using a cane and walked out with almost no pain at all. She is incredibly knowledgeable and stays up to date with the latest techniques. I tell anyone experiencing back pain, neck pain, or any kind of muscle pain to go to Pippa. I have even taken my children to her and I trust her completely.

My daughter, Gabrielle, is 15 years old and a dancer at Metro Arts Institute charter high school in Phoenix. She dances at an intermediate advanced level taking class daily. Pippa stretches Gabby on a regular basis and has enabled her to understand and work with her body as she continues to grow as a dancer. Pippa's stretching has done wonders for Gabby's flexibility. Not to mention how it helps the muscle and joint soreness that being a dancer brings.
We've known Pippa about 10 years. I met Pippa through mutual dancer friends of ours. My oldest daughter Kaylee and I have taken Pilates from Pippa. She helped Kaylee tremendously to strengthen and use her core and back. Kaylee had surgery 14 years ago to correct scoliosis. She had her entire thoracic spine fused and 2 rods inserted. She is 25 years old and hasn't had any issues with her back. She is diligent with staying fit which includes doing the exercises Pippa has taught her over the years. I am convinced it is the reason she is flexible, strong and pain free.
I have taken Pilates from various instructors for the past 30 years. As a dancer, teacher and performer from the 1970's to 2000 I have been blessed to learn from a multitude of individuals many stretch and Pilates techniques. Dancers have used Joseph Pilates' theories and practices long before it became popular as a workout. Pippa is the best Pilates instructor I have ever taken from. She is very well trained and has an excellent anatomical understanding. She also has the passion for her work which enables her to work with people on an individual basis, creating programs that are fine tuned just for them.
I still teach and recommend my students regularly to Pippa. She is excellent as what she does.

I was introduced to Manual Stretch Therapy by Pippa a few years ago. I was amazed at the benefits. I try to explain to people how MST makes you feel, by describing it as a power yoga class with no effort on your part. You walk out of a session with Pippa feeling loose, limber and relaxed, like the energy just flows easily through your body. Although I have no injuries I can see how someone with pain would benefit from MST even more than I do. But having been through numerous MST sessions, I believe that it takes a skilled, trained and certified therapist, such as Pippa for any benefits to be reaped. I would recommend her to anyone.

I first came to Pippa by way of the Stretch to Win website. I was looking for someone to do passive stretch. I have a neurologic disease called hereditary spastic paraplegia. It causes stiffness in my legs that makes movement and walking difficult. I have done lots of Physical therapy over the years. They all told me to stretch, but I found that because of the spasticity it was all but impossible to effectively stretch myself. I found fascial stretch to be incredibly helpful! Most of all, it felt good!
After awhile, she suggested that I should try Pilates. I had done that before, as a duo, and found it not to be helpful. When I told my Physiatrist this, she became frustrated, saying that I needed it to be adapted to my specific issues. I told Pippa this and we proceeded to try it. She watched every movement, and adapted them to prevent me from compensating, forcing me to do the movements correctly. Gradually, I started notice that I could do movements that I could not do before. I felt some hope that exercise could improve my movement. Mostly, my posture improved dramatically!
I have good days and bad days, but Pippa is always encouraging. She tries many different ways to get the movement she is looking for. I am learning to be more aware of my body and how to improve how it moves. I have had lots of PT, but I realized how often I compensated to do the exercises, making things worse. I am trying now to work in conjunction with my therapy to improve my functioning.
Pippa has a good knowledge of how the body moves, and has encouraged me to keep trying.

Working with Pippa is one of the best decisions I've made. I generally mix up my gym routine with crossfit, power lifting and olympic lifting, which is really hard on your body. I generally see her once a month and each time is a bit different because she really listens to me and what my body is saying. Self stretching and foam rolling are great, but will only get you so far. Having someone knowledgable doing the stretching for you helps work on imbalances you didn’t even know you had. She was also extremely helpful when I dislocated my shoulder, helping it heal properly, with a combination of her sessions and the outside exercises she suggested.

I am recently retired with back problems and leg nerve problems, sometimes even walking was painful. My wife and I started a mild exercise routine after I retired for seniors. I learned of Pippa from my daughter, who has worked with Pippa for years, with a gift stretch session. It is the best thing that has happened in years for me medically. I went from limping often and hurting after a mile or two of walking to now no limping and my leg has not given out on me since I have seen Pippa.
Working with Pippa has been very great. She is very professional. When I am walking out, I feel so much better, starting from the first visit.
