I use a range of targeted, hands-on stretching techniques to unlock tight spots in your body and reduce tension so you feel relaxed and aligned. With certifications in a variety of methods, I get you the best results by combining techniques, including:
- Fascial Stretch Therapy – a specialized form of manual therapy aimed at improving the flexibility, mobility, and function of your fascia. The fascia is a three-dimensional web of collagen fibers that surround and support muscles, bones, organs, and nerves throughout the body. I use gentle, targeted assisted stretching with mobilization, and manipulation techniques to elongate those fascial layers, for increased range of motion, reduced stiffness, and enhanced overall physical performance.
- NeuroMyoFascia Therapy – a gentle and intuitive technique that focuses on myofascial release, soothing the nervous system, and healing. If you’ve been dealing with chronic pain, tension, or stress, this can be a game changer.
- Reiki – a very simple yet effective form of energy work that creates deep relaxation, promotes healing, and soothes discomfort.
What happens in a session?
You relax on the massage table and I do the rest. Working with your body’s capabilities, I safely and gently stretch you at angles it’s hard to achieve on your own.
During a Manual Stretch Therapy session, I work to create balance and harmony in your body by guiding you into a parasympathetic state where you can heal, rest, and restore. You’ll feel visible and immediate gains in your range of motion, even after one session.
What happens after a session?
I want you to get the most out of each session, so I give you practical tools to maintain those results and manage any recurring issues. I have a catalog of YouTube videos for my clients and I can give you exercises to work on at home, so you keep that relaxed, pain-free feeling.
Is Manual Stretch Therapy right for me?
If you’re struggling with stiffness, tension, or tightness
If you’re frustrated at not being able to move like you used to
If you want to improve your flexibility and mobility in a gentle, safe way…
Manual Stretch Therapy is for you.
Every session is uniquely personalized to your needs and with more than a decade of experience, plus multiple certifications, I can create the perfect blend of methods and techniques to tackle whatever is holding you back.

"You walk out of a session with Pippa feeling loose, limber and relaxed, like the energy just flows easily through your body. Having been through numerous stretch therapy sessions, I believe that it takes a skilled, trained and certified therapist, such as Pippa for any benefits to be reaped. I would recommend her to anyone." |

HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO COME IN FOR OPTIMAL RESULTS? OR EVEN JUST FOR MAINTENANCE?
It’s tough to say exactly without meeting and seeing you in person. It really depends on what you have going on and how your body responds to Manual Stretch Therapy Sessions, as well as what else you’re doing.
I usually suggest planning on coming in for at least 3 sessions relatively closer together (like once a week or so) then we can re-evaluate and make a plan of action that works for you.
Maintenance usually works best if you come in every 4-6 weeks.

IS IT SAFE TO DO THIS IF I’M UNDER MY DOCTOR, PHYSICAL THERAPIST, OR CHIROPRACTOR’S CARE?
Yes! Especially if you bring specific information about your diagnosis, current treatment, and any protocols or recommendations your other caregivers can provide. I’m also happy to communicate directly with them if you give and document consent.
HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT THAN A MASSAGE?
Here are some facts that might help clarify the difference:
While Massage and Manual Stretching do offer some similar benefits, here are some of the main differences of Manual Stretch Therapy:
- 47% of your flexibility is locked up in your joint capsule
- 42% of your flexibility potential is in your fascia.
- Stretching can reduce or eliminate tight muscles, stiff joints, and chronic pain.
- Stretching improves your circulation.
- Stretching makes you feel and look younger.
- Stretching makes you stronger.
- Assisted stretching works much better than self stretching.
While Massage and Manual Stretching do offer some similar benefits, here are some of the main differences of Manual Stretch Therapy:
- You stay fully clothed throughout your session.
- I focus on balancing out your entire fascial body, vs. focusing on specific areas.
- A lot of your flexibility is accessed by working on the joint capsule, not just the muscles.
- We use activation and releasing patterns, which improves your ability to stabilize as you release or lengthen. (preventing injury)
- There’s no oil or lotion used, so you can get right back to your day if needed.
HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT THAN GOING TO A FRANCHISE WHERE IT IS CHEAPER TO GET STRETCH SESSIONS?
My knowledge base, education, and years of hands on experience with Manual Stretch Therapy as well as other modalities are what set me apart from a franchise. Chances are, whatever you have going on I’ve probably studied it and worked with it on several other bodies facing the same challenges. I also offer a different perspective, I’m often giving stretch clients Pilates based exercises as a way to help maintain and maximize their results.
If you’re not able to come in for one on one Manual Stretch Therapy Sessions, there are still plenty of ways to work with me at a variety of price points. Please connect with me and we can figure out what will work for you.
