Did you know that 47% of your flexibility is locked up in your joint capsules? If you could release your hip joint capsule, imagine the impact on your overall hip flexibility! Many of my clients find this very helpful in accessing their hip mobility, releasing lower back tension or pain, and finding their hip hinge. Let me know how it goes! Standing Pilates Ring Workout
This month’s Selz video, which is available for download and/or streaming, is a Standing Pilates Ring workout. It is about 25 minutes long, and it’s a simple yet challenging full body workout. I encourage all levels of experience to give it a try as it includes some useful balance work and applies many Pilates principles to some functional, everyday movements.
The Pilates Ring
The ring is a very versatile prop! For a relatively small investment and an even smaller storage footprint it can take your Pilates practice to the next level.
